A great teacher who is full of excitement and love for her students can make all the difference in their lives.

Our young family moved to Stanwood in 1991. Recognizing the great need for high quality child care, Home Sweet Home Daycare was born.
It was important for me to create an environment that I had been searching for as a working Mom for my own children. I've never looked back!
I have devoted my life to caring and educating children and their families. My team shares my passion and vision! We are early childhood educators, and we are striving for excellence for kid's sake everyday!
Opening our new program, Imagine That! ELC has been a decade long dream of mine. We are excited to share this wonderful program with our community!
Play on!
Hello! I am Teacher Beka! I have deep roots in N. Snohomish County and lived in Stanwood since 2005.
I have 2 awesome children! We like to camp, hike, bike, explore, travel, adventure and all the fun things! Adventure is a family value!
I serve as a girl scout leader and public advocate for children's sake.
I have been an early educator for 20 years already and my what fun it's been! I hold an associates degree in General Studies and Early Childhood Education, as well as having over 200 hours in Professional Development and am still growing my brain at WGU.
I have educated students and families in Public Sector State Funded Preschool, Cooperative Community Preschool, and the Private Sector School. I am deeply passionate about the value of high quality, nurturing, developmentally appropriate early childhood (birth-8yo) education. Sixty years of solid research supports the short term investment and long term payoff of high quality early education. Early Ed is BIG business!
Imagine That has given me the opportunity to bridge my value for our natural world with my love for educating our next generation of world leaders and the earth's ambassadors! It is an honor and delight to serve my community!
Hi! I am Teacher Shawnalee (Shawna is fine too)!
I'm thrilled to be part of the fun crew at Imagine That! My husband and I have two kids who are 8 and 5. My little guy has been at Imagine That since 2022 and we have loved it! Our family enjoys adventures. We love to travel, road trips, hikes, and exploring beaches near home, and low tide are favorites of ours.
I grew up in Marysville and working with kiddos has always felt right to me. I have nearly 20 years of experience working with children in childcare, teaching early childhood and elementary education.
We were blessed to come across Tinkergarten when my daughter was just a toddler! For the next 5 years I spent several hours a week outside, guiding parents and explorers ages 1yo-8yo. It was truly a privilege to work with so many families in the community, supporting parents and children in nature; exploring, pretending, creating, problem-solving, fostering empathy for nature, for others, and much more! There's nothing that compares to fresh air, the sound of the wind in the trees, and a little dirt under the fingernails!
I'm excited to bring these experiences to class and share my love for play-based learning and to spread the joy that nature has to offer. I'm looking forward to getting to know your child(ren) and their loved ones. It'll be a year of invaluable growth and we are all the lucky ones that get to witness it first hand.
My name is Melody and I am 20 years old. I have been working with children for the past two years and absolutely love it! I am currently attending Skagit Valley Community College pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education. Not only do I have a passion for teaching children, but also a passion for animals. Before COVID-19 I was a leader for a local 4-H Rabbit and Cavy (Guinea Pig) club program. In this role, I mentored and taught children of all ages about animals and their general care. This is what sparked my love of teaching.
Hello my name is Aspen! I’m very excited to be a part of the amazing team at Imagine That and work with your children.
